As the sting of the hot summer sun recedes, we look back on a wonderful season filled with unique dining experiences. We had the pleasure of meeting over a hundred lovely new guests from a diverse range of countries including: America, Britain, the Netherlands, Germany and Singapore. Meeting so many enthusiastic food lovers and sharing delicious food, good conversation and insights is always very rewarding. This month we take pleasure in introducing The Velvet Glove, a swanky Art Deco inspired bar and Avia, a neighbourhood restaurant in Taylor Square, Darlinghurst.
We hope you had a fabulous holiday season and are feeling fully re-charged for the year ahead. We are going for early morning walks, before Sydney heats-up for the day, and indulging in luxurious harbour swims of an afternoon. Our season is still ongoing but is less back-to-back in terms of bookings between dining tours and airport meet n’ greets. In January we celebrated our 12th Birthday with a quick bite and a couple of drinks at new kid on the block: Letra House. A wonderful night out in the city we love, feeling grateful for everything that our small business has bought us.
This month, we are spotlighting: Gelato Messina’s new seasonal menu, designed to be an experimental, immersive and indulgent six-course degustation, showcasing the perfect balance of sweet, savoury and umami. Our friends at Ezra have opened Teddy - an Aussie Bar & Bistro with the mantra : affordable, accessible, and approachable. Plus Arms Length has re-located from Redfern to Kellett Street, Potts Point.
