Serendipity

Serendipity

Serendipity happened accidentally in a little kitchen in Paddington, in 1966. Alix Mandelson was not satisfied that the most exotic ice cream available was Neapolitan. Being allergic to chocolate it left the pink stripe and the white stripe – neither of which contained the real ingredients she was craving. So she set to work creating her own ice cream from fresh cream and eggs and other fresh ingredients that we all love in our ice cream.

New Player | Bon Vin

Meet the newest addition to our Darlinghurst Dining Walk.
We first discovered Bon Vin in a hidden laneway of East Sydney totally by accident, whilst out on the town in Darlo with friends one winters night. On a brisk Sydney evening the idea of descending into a subterranean cellar was very appealing, when the lovely waiter standing outside, invited us inside.

Brown Paper Wine

Brown Paper Wine

Brown Paper Wine is the creation of Richard Powell, his mates call him all sorts of names: Richie, Dick, and many more colourful monikers. We first met when he supplied wines for a Surry Hills Creative Precinct function we attended a year ago. His passion and joy in introducing people to good wine was evident from the moment he poured us a glass.
